Tour Description

Your morning will begin with our picking- up at your hotel in Naples by one of our experienced escort drivers. The walking tour stars with our guide by visiting the Basilica of Incoronata Madre del Buon Consiglio whose gardens lead to the Catacombs of San Gennaro. Just outside the exit of the Catacombs, which was the former access, we find the early Christian basilica built in the fifth century A.D. (Basilica of San Gennaro Extra Moenia). You will continue exploring the Rione Sanità (The road to Rebirth) crossing a bridge and by a short walk you will get into the Basilica of Rione including Cripta of San Gaudioso. After that you will see the Fontanelle Cementery.

For lunch our guide will suggest you a restaurant to enjoy some typical Neapolitan dishes featuring both meat and fish options, or choose an authentic traditional pizza! In the afternoon you will visit the Palazzo San Felice, the Palazzo dello Spagnolo and Church of Santa Maria dei Vergini. The tour ends near Via Foria, at Porta San Gennaro, where you will meet one of our drivers who will take you to your hotel.
